Author and creator of MHERA™ Wellbeing – a trademarked, science-backed method for assessing and supporting animal emotional wellbeing, and developer of the MHERA™ app. An international speaker and lecturer on animal emotionality, with hands-on experience using MHERA™ to improve the behavioural and emotional health of animals in professional care, including captive wildlife.
I also train and support other professionals to integrate MHERA™ into their practices, and act as a wellbeing specialist consultant to facilities and professionals, helping them make informed, welfare and wellbeing-focused decisions. Advisor to the South African Government on animal behaviour, education, and safe dog-human interactions, and active in professional communities as a SAAKA member, AAWCH Welfare Committee member, and UK Charter Director.
