Are you thinking of, or have you recently adopted a cat or kitten from a shelter? If so then this course is for you! Your rescue feline may have some specific needs when coming into her forever home.
This introductory course will give you the tools to help make sure that she adjusts quickly and happily to her new environment.
You & Your Rescue Cat is a 6-month Online course, no certificates are awarded.
Students can enrol at any time.
What the student will learn
- This course will give you vital information on preparing yourself, and your household, for a rescue cat or kitten.
- It enables all cat owners to achieve a deeper understanding of feline behaviour, care and nutrition.
- As well as giving you the knowledge on how to deal with your new pet’s special needs, giving her the best possible start in her forever home.

- Nutritional needs at various life stages.
- Unit 5

- Common feline diseases and health concerns, including parasites & poisons.
- Unit 6

- Some of the more common behavioural problems you may encounter – scratching, scent marking etc.
